Questions
Is there a cost or an API key?
No. The MCP server and the JSON API are free and read-only, with no key. Please cite the rad.loans URL that comes back with each result.
Where does the data come from?
Conversions come from HUD's RAD Resource Desk export (downloaded October 31, 2026); rents come from HUD's RAD Contract Rents Look-Up Tool (May 2026). Program facts cite the statute and HUD notices. The server reads the same files as the site's pages.
Can an agent submit a financing request?
No. Nothing is submitted through the server. get_financing_quote_link returns the quote form URL with optional prefill, and the person fills in the form.
